eComNet - Amandla!!! (Power to the people)

Power to the people was a statement used during the fight against apartheid. Well, that was to send a message to the apartheid government with the hope one day we will indeed experience such.

All that has changed over the years since the dawn of our democracy. When we indeed overcame all the obstacles of oppression, we were yet faced with another dilemma, a self-centred government who began to look the other way. It has become common knowledge that a much bigger percentage of our officials has fall prey to money laundering, leaving the idea of 'Power to the people' behind and forgotten.

How do we re-instate that thought and action it one more time. "Amandla!!!" Can anyone remember this word. It means power.

The dynamics of how we were hoping it would work, needs urgent changing. Our leadership requires instigation and constant reminders, and how the bloody hell do we do that. For to long has leaders do as they pleased without proper reminders from the people who indeed poshest the power. The power who enabled them as if they forgot.

eComNet Hub is aimed at uplifting local communities, who in return rely on a strong and focused government. Let's give power back to the people by means of united communities who collectively forward a strong message to our government and to remind them who made them to be.
